So, after some prompting and much-appreciated help from a friend (hi Matt!), I’ve decided to give this food blog thing a try. Until about a year ago, I was a complete stranger to all things blog-related. Without getting into my love/hate relationship with social networking or my thoughts on the www turning into one giant diary, I’ll just say that it wasn’t for me. But then, I discovered food blogging. People discussing, making, and photographing food—how did I not know that this existed?!
I never thought I’d start my own, mainly because I’m lazy and have the attention span of a three year old. But then I realized I was calling my mother every other day to talk about something I had made, was currently making, or was going to make. I also spent an evening bombarding my friend Alicia with random recipes I thought she might enjoy. So, it occurred to me that I may in fact need another outlet. Poor Alicia needs a break! (My mother does not; she’s retired.)
Hey Carey! The blog is looking totally sweet – looks like you’ve really gotten the hang of setting it up and laying things out.
Let me know when I can try those tomatoes ;-)
